Who we are
Verdure is a team of energy professionals operating in the South African market who reduce carbon emissions by providing long-term debt funding solutions to renewable energy and efficiency projects.
We support our clients’ businesses in a cost-effective and efficient manner. We do this by streamlining our commercial and technical evaluation processes using in-house advisers as well as utilising simplified yet robust legal structures.
As our clients’ successes and portfolios of projects grow, we evolve our funding solutions to support their businesses at every step of the way.

Our Partners
KfW, the German government’s bilateral development bank, established Verdure to stimulate the measures aimed at the reduction of carbon intensity in South Africa through providing substantial financial and risk mitigation support to the mid-scale project developers.
Rand Merchant Bank and other notable South African institutional investors provide Verdure with funding lines. Verdure is managed by EWF Partners, an experienced team who collectively have over 100 years of experience in supporting and funding energy projects around the world and who are focused on making funding simple and accessible to our client base.
